His award-winning adaptation of B S Johnson’s famous ‘book-in-a-box’ The Unfortunates, starring Martin Freeman and described as ‘riveting’ by The Observer was repeated last year on BBC Radio 3 and released as a Smartspeaker app for Alexa, allowing the listener to randomise the order in which they hear the chapters.
